Summer Artwork #1

This summer, I went to Beaver Creek and took this picture of a flower I found while hiking. On Photoshop, I increased the contrast to make the colors more bold, and bring out the pink on the flower. Then, I added a vignette to add to the image by making the viewer focus more on the flower. I really liked how the flower was the only thing in focus, and the background was out of focus.

Summer Artwork #2

Despicable Me is one of my favorite movies, and I thought it would be cool to draw one of the characters from it. I drew this minion in my sketchbook, and then I colored it on Photoshop. To make the image bolder, I also outlined the image on Photoshop. It was really fun sketching, then coloring the image on Photoshop, even though it took a lot of time and focus on detail.

  1. Oh, my gosh this sketch is so cute! I love that you picked a widely known character and sketched it! I also did a sketch of a minion for my summer art, so it's super exciting someone else did!
