Re-imagining Artwork
This is my emulation of Kollin Skattum's artwork. His requirements were: 1) black and white, 2) self-identity. There are different ways to approach this, taking multiple images and bringing them together in one or taking ghost photography. I used the same basic concept of having three of the same people in one image. Although I tried using ghost photography for my previous one, I wanted to try something new. In order to keep the ghost effect, I changed the opacity of me in these three different "people". I wanted to get across that although I have many different "me's"/personalities, the one "me" that won't change is going to school. I kept a border effect to show some correspondence, and I tried to keep a straight facial expression like Kollin's. However, one major thing I changed was putting it on an actual background instead of having a black background. I think the setting is necessary in my image because it adds to the different "me's".
